this blog will be focusing on my first project from the web design class i mentioned in the last blog. our project was to grab five scanned/old family photos and retouch them in photoshop. we could basically use any tools we wanted in order to clean the photos up and make them presentable for the web. i was not able to scan five, so i used three scans and two digital, however i converted all of them to black and white so as to not let either of the digitals stand out like sore thumbs.
we also had to save the photos in various file formats. we had one folder for the photoshop/uncompressed images, one for png's, and one folder called "optimized" which was for the html and images together. the ones i will post here will be those optimized photos. all five of them are below. enjoy.
